SECUBASE 383—a versatile tool that functions as both a safety knife and a cutter. Designed with automatic blade retraction, it minimizes the risk of cutting injuries. For tasks that require more precision, like saw cuts, the blade can be securely locked in seven different positions, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
Long Blade Extension: The blade extends up to 7.8 cm, allowing the SECUBASE 383 to effortlessly and safely cut through materials like 4-ply cardboard, bagged goods, paper rolls, building foam, and polystyrene sheets.
Locking and Retraction: You can adjust the SECUBASE 383 to seven different cutting depths, ranging from 7 mm to 73 mm, depending on your needs. Once you're done, simply release the lock, and the blade will automatically retract.
Ergonomic Handle: The SECUBASE 383 features a consistently ergonomic design that ensures hand protection. Its slightly tapered handle offers a comfortable grip, while the slider, enhanced by a built-in ramp, allows for effortless operation.
For Right and Left Hander:The SECUBASE 383 is designed for immediate use by right-handed users. For left-handed users, simply rotate the blade 180° to begin cutting. The slider and lock are conveniently operated with the thumb for enhanced ease of use.
Easy Blade Change:To access the long, flexible blade, simply press the blue blade change button located at the end of the handle. This allows you to slide out the inner section along with the slider. The blade is securely held in place by two magnets for added safety and convenience.
